The National Gardens Scheme in Norfolk has two gardens full of spring colours opening on both Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.

DESERT WORLD GARDENS  at Santon Downham is packed with over 70 varieties of magnolias, many in full bloom, and a wide range of spring bulbs to seek out.. Owner Barry Gayton is a regular on radio gardening programmes and keen to share his extensive plant knowledge with visitors

WRETHAM LODGE, in East Wretham specialises in spring bulbs with masses of tulips amongst hellebores in a lovely old walled garden. The wild flower meadows feature narcissi and fritillaries.

These are the ideal places to walk off all those Easter eggs you’ve eaten!!
