Head to Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden at South Walsham for the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Good Friday, April 19, 11am to 4pm.
Look for the colourful eggs that lead to a chocolate egg prize, plus Easter crafts for the children. Garden entry is adult £6.85, concessions £6.60, child 5-16 £3.95, under 5 free, plus £2.50 extra per child for Easter Egg Hunt (every child gets an egg.) The Great Bear Hunt is back at Fairhaven. Volunteer Andy Usher has carved 10 bears, which are located throughout the garden next to trees and shrubs. Get out out and about, hunt the bears and learn about the woodland.
Bluebell Weeks begin on Easter Monday, April 22 and run to Sunday, May 12, daily 10am to 5pm, with exclusive access to our neighbouring nature reserve and its bluebell woods, featuring an additional two miles of footpaths set within 60 acres of mature and coppiced woodland. Included in garden entry charge.
