Halesworth Arts Festival 2015. 14th Year of North Suffolk’s Favourite Festival
Details of the 14th year of the largest arts festival in North Suffolk have now been released.
Headed up by The Swingles, Dillie Keane, the Demon Barbers and David Gower, there should be something for everyone with 22 events over 15 days.
Halesworth is a market town in North Suffolk, 8 miles inland from Southwold on the coast. The New Cut Arts Centre has been home to the highly acclaimed Halesworth Arts Festival.
The Cut, as it is known, is a fine old converted maltings building with a purpose built auditorium that had raked seating for 240 and superb acoustics.

Norfolk Heritage Open Days 2015 brochure launched – 243 free events to discover Norfolk’s amazing heritage
Norfolk Heritage Open Days (HODs) is back in September, offering the chance to delve into Norwich and Norfolk’s fascinating and sometimes hidden heritage once again.
This year’s festival runs 10th to 13th September with events celebrating the county’s fantastic heritage.
2015 marks the 21st anniversary nationwide of the Heritage Open Days scheme, and the 11th run by HEART. The national HODs campaign theme is ‘Do Something New’ with a focus on refreshing, reinvigorating and reinterpreting local HODs locations, sites and events. Norwich and Norfolk this year offers over 75 new events, as well as many old favourites.

Arts Trail
River Waveney Sculpture Trail returns this August and September
Waveney & Blyth Arts’ River Waveney Sculpture Trail returns for the second year this summer to the River Waveney Trust near Bungay, opening on Friday, August 14.
The Sculpture Trail, which is supported by Essex & Suffolk Water’s Branch Out fund and is curated by Norfolk artist and curator, Sarah Cannell, will feature 40 new sculptures and installations from 32 artists that respond to the beauty of this stunning part of the River Waveney.
The River Waveney Sculpture Trail is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from August 14 to September 6 and August Bank Holiday Monday, 10am to 4pm.
Entry is adult £4, under 18 free and £3 for members of Waveney & Blyth Arts and River Waveney Trust. Venue address – River Waveney Study Centre, Old Harleston Road, Earsham, Bungay NR35 2AF.

Raveningham Country Fair 5th September 2015 11.00 – 23.00
The Raveningham Country Fair is a traditional Threshing Fair that has been running since 1977 and this year we have steam engines, vintage machinery, classic vehicles, craft stalls, working horses, viking re-enactment, birds of prey, clowns, model planes, dance displays, tea tent, beer tent and much more.
Live bands play throughout the afternoon and into the night. A great fun day out, 11.00-23.00. Signposted from the B1136 between Loddon and Haddiscoe.
