Fairhaven Green Festival and Green Boat Show, Sunday, June 21 2015

Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden’s annual Green Festival, incorporating the Green Boat Show, is on Sunday, June 21 from 10am to 5pm. There will be a packed day of entertainment and fun environmental activities on land and afloat.

Normal entry charges to Fairhaven Garden at South Walsham apply on the day. The event is supporting the Love the Broads charity. Entertainment features music from The He Hews and John Brown blues singer, The Pedant’s Revolt Morris Dancers, Stevie Spud’s circus skills workshop, children’s clay play, face painting and maypole dancing.

Gorleston to Host Volleyball England Beach Tour for First Time

The Volleyball England Beach Tour 2015 is heading for Gorleston-on-Sea beach. The Great Yarmouth Classic will be played for the first time in Gorleston, on Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28.

Great Yarmouth Tourism and Business Improvement Area (GYTABIA) and Great Yarmouth Borough Council are responsible for bringing the tournament to Gorleston, with £4000 funding from GYTABIA securing the 11th consecutive Great Yarmouth Classic.

Open Gardens Event

HALESWORTH OPEN GARDENS 20th June

Halesworth residents are unlatching their gates and throwing open their gardens to the public on Saturday 20 June 2015.
In different parts of the town, 15 beautiful private gardens will be open to visitors. Three other gardens are included in the tour: Halesworth Library Garden, Halesworth Memorial Garden & Hooker Arboretum and Tilly’s Café Garden in the Market Place, which is open to anyone eating at the café.
