The next art exhibition at Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, South Walsham from Tuesday, March 5 to Sunday, March 10 , open 10am to 4pm, features the work of Emma Buck.

Emma Buck is a wildlife biologist, born and bred in Norfolk, but working all over the world. She uses acrylics to create bright, eye catching pieces; birds are the main feature of her artwork. This is her debut exhibition. Free entry.

Celebrate Pancake Day at Fairhaven on Tuesday, March 5, with these specials created by chef, Paul Jeffries. Start with a Breakfast pancake featuring scrambled eggs, bacon and roasted vine tomatoes, followed by sweet pancakes with lemon and sugar, then creamed chicken and mushroom pancakes topped with cheese for lunch and sweet pancakes filled with morello cherries and ice cream for afternoon tea. Vegetarian pancakes filled with creamy mushrooms and chestnuts also available. Pancakes served from 9.15am to 4pm.

Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden is at South Walsham, signposted off A47 at B1140 junction, half way between Norwich and Great Yarmouth.

The garden is open daily all year, 10am to 4pm until the end of February, then 10am to 5pm (closed Christmas Day), and on Wednesdays until 9pm from May to the end of August. Free entry to tearoom, provisions shop, gift shop and plant sales.

There is wheelchair access throughout the garden, including a Sensory Garden and an accessible boat for trips on the broad from April to October (additional charge). Visitors requiring special facilities are advised to telephone in advance, mobility scooters available.

Dogs are welcome on leads; small charge to cover poop scoop.
