Her 2018 album ‘Dancing With the Beast’ blends shades of country-rock, indie-folk and Southern gothic with Peters’ smoky honeyed voice.
Reprising her headlining set at the 2019 Celtic Connections Festival, Glasgow, Gretchen will be joined by her band, led by long-time musical partner Barry Walsh, and the Southern Fried String Quartet.

Derek Nash has played in Jools Holland’s Rhythm and Blues Orchestra and the Ronnie Scott’s Blues Explosion. He has won several British Jazz Awards and performed with Gregory Porter, Chaka Khan, Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Amy Winehouse and many more.
