Creative Employment Programme

The Creative Employment Programme Forthcoming Opportunities Events for Employers

Arts and community development charity, Creative Arts East, are holding two ‘Creative Employment Programme’ events for employers who would be interested in having a part-wage grant towards a creative internship. Creative Arts East has teamed up with the Creative Employment Programme to support the creation of paid internships for 18-24 year olds wanting to pursue a career in the arts and cultural sector.

These two Opportunities Events will take place on:

Tuesday 26th July at Chauffeurs Cottage, St. Peter’s Road, Peterborough PE1 1YX from 12.30-1.30pm

Wednesday 27th July  at Dragon Hall, King Street, Norwich, NR1 1QE, from 2.30-3.30pm

The meetings will provide information about the subsidised wage costs, which vary from 50% to 70%, as well as guidance on employing 18-24 year olds through the Creative Employment Programme.

The Creative Employment Programme

supports both creative and cultural employers, as well as individual artists. Funding can be provided for employers in fields such as museums, libraries, galleries, music, combined arts, dance and much more!

Additionally, non creative and cultural employers who want to create a specifically creative role within their organisation can also be supported.

If you would like to attend one of the events please email [email protected] or call 01953 713390. If you are unable to make either of these dates, but would still be interested in finding out more about these opportunities, please do get in touch.
