Excursions – Norfolk Tourism on the Road

Norfolk Tourism, with partners Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach and The National Gardens Scheme Norfolk, is heading to Excursions at Alexandra Place on Saturday, January 12, to launch the county’s 2008 tourism exhibition programme on stand EE17, and tell coach operators all about Norfolk. Excursions is the largest group travel show in the South of England.

Norfolk Tourism’s Lydia Smith will be promoting the county armed with Norfolk’s Travel Trade Manual 2008. She will also be highlighting locations featured in ITV’s Kingdom, which returns for a second series in the spring.

Other planned pre-Easter exhibitions in the Norfolk Tourism schedule are

The Essex Tourism & Leisure Show, Brentwood Centre
Thursday, February 21

British Travel Trade Fair, NEC Birmingham
Tuesday, March 11 and Wednesday, March 12

The Outdoor Show, NEC Birmingham
Friday, March 14 to Sunday, March 16

Lydia Smith said: “The show programme is an important part of Norfolk Tourism’s annual marketing drive. It really helps raise awareness of our diverse tourism offer to both the trade and consumers. We are always delighted to work with local tourism businesses and our partners at the exhibitions. A literature distribution service is also offered.”
