Norwich Fleamarket returns to St. Andrews and Blackfriars Halls on Saturday 15 February.    If you want to buy your beloved something for Valentine’s Day that you definitely won’t find on the high street and they can bear to wait an extra day then this is the place to head for.    Even if you have no idea of what to buy before you arrive, just browsing the more than 100 stalls will give you plenty of inspiration.

Gold-Charms

The fun of the Fleamarket is that you never know what you are going to find – you might fall in love with a piece of mid-20th designer glass, or find that book you have always been looking for to complete the set, or be enchanted by some delicate lacy vintage table-linen which reminds you of childhood high tea.

The charity we are supporting this month is PDSA.

Our lovely new website www.norwichfleamarket.com is now live and you can link to our Facebook and Twitter  pages.  If you don’t already, please follow us – its an easy way of keeping up-to-date with all the latest news in between fairs. You can also avoid the queue at the ticket desk and buy tickets in advance via the Buy Tickets button on our Facebook page.

The Best of Norwich ‘Local and Loved’ Awards are open until 14 February.  If you love us at all, please vote for us here today.  Thank you! xxx

Don’t forget the new entrance to the fair is the automatic glass door in the corner of the Plain by the noticeboard – just follow the bunting!

Remember to write your email address on the back of your entrance ticket and drop it into the box on the desk when you leave, for a chance to win £20 of vouchers to spend at the fair.

On Saturday 8 March we will be part of Norwich Fashion Week with a fashion show on the stage of St. Andrews looking at how vintage and good charity shop finds can be styled to look fabulous on a budget. The show will be raising funds for The Samaritans and all the clothes modelled will be available for sale after the show.  We will also be joined by lots of our lovely vintage dealers so you can indulge your passion for fashion. So put 8 March in your diary now and tell all your friends.  Full list to be released later but as a teaser WakeUpLittleSusie is just one dealer who will be joining us selling her well-known line of vintage nightwear and other delicious goodies. Read this month’s great piece about her and her husband Simon in this month’s Norwich Resident, the new glossy magazine.
