Father Christmas will be visiting Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden at South Walsham on Saturday, December 10 and Sunday, December 11th 2016.

He will arrive on his lawnmower on both days at 11am, then will head down to his woodland yurt tucked away among the trees and will stay there until 4.30pm.

Also meet reindeer Comet and Blitzen and have a walk in the garden, before returning to the tearoom for hot chestnuts, hot chocolate, mulled wine and some seasonal fare.

There will be live music near the tearoom over the weekend featuring Broadland Youth Choir, Hemblington Harmony Community Choir, Broadland Brass and Wensum Valley Handbell Ringers; also visit the elves’ workshop with free Christmas crafts and face painting.

Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden is at South Walsham NR13 6DZ, nine miles east of Norwich, signposted off A47 at B1140 junction. The garden is open daily all year from 10am (closed Christmas Day and closes 4pm in the winter); free entry to tearoom, gift shop and plant sales.

There is wheelchair access throughout the garden, including a Sensory Garden and an accessible boat for trips on the broad from April to October (additional charge). Visitors requiring special facilities are advised to telephone in advance, mobility scooters available.

Dogs are welcome on leads; small charge to cover poop scoop.
