Join a cast of Knights, Archers, Falconers, Monks, Minstrels, Cooks, Serfs & Domestics on Saturday & Sunday 15th & 16th June, when when the Black Knight Historical Group set up camp at The Suffolk Owl Sanctuary in all their mediaeval finery

Visitors to the centre at Stonham Aspal will be able to watch the battling knights, don the armour, wield the weapons, hear the music, visit the kitchens and handle the tools of a variety of crafts from the Middle Ages during a fascinating day when you will be able to relive the excitement of days gone by!

The days kick off at around 10.30, followed by a series of arena events and demonstrations that will include three spectacular flying displays reflecting the era when falconry was the Sport Of Kings and an integral part of mediaeval life.  They will also be a special Kids Quiz with prizes and a chance to meet our new guests at Meerkat Kastle.
