All Suffolk’s libraries will be closed for the usual Bank Holidays – Monday 25 December, Tuesday 26 December and Monday 1 January, plus they will also be closed for an extra day on Wednesday 26 December.

Libraries that are open on Sundays (which is all of them except Stradbroke and Bungay) will be closing earlier on Christmas Eve. These will differ for each library so people are advised to check with their library or on the website. Otherwise libraries will be open as usual and the website www.suffolklibraries.co.uk will be available for online renewals and reservations and to access eLibrary services. Return dates for library loans will be adjusted to allow for the festive opening hours.

Several libraries are collecting for foodbanks and other good causes too which people might like to know – https://www.suffolklibraries.co.uk/news/libraries-collecting-for-foodbanks/
