Free business seminar on wellbeing in the workplace

With stress the number one cause of long-term absence in the workplace, it is a serious employment issue that is linked to reduced efficiency and productivity, high staff turnover and affect profits.

The NHS Wellbeing Service in Norfolk has joined together with Jarrold Training to offer a FREE business seminar for employers in the region to learn how to prevent or manage stress in their workforce.

Norman Lamb, Health Minister and Liberal Democrat MP for North Norfolk, will welcome everyone and give a short talk about the importance of good mental health within the workplace.

As well as being a great opportunity to network, HR managers and employers will be able to learn about the differences between stress and pressure. They will also have a chance to sample the ‘Wellbeing in the Workplace’ workshop, which can be delivered free by the Wellbeing Service to employees, to help learn helpful techniques to cope with the symptoms of stress.
