Suffolk Artlink have announced a free dance event taking place next Friday 3rd May as part of ‘Make, Do & Friends’, their creative programme for older people living in Suffolk’s rural towns and villages.

On Friday 3rd May at 1.30pm, the arts charity welcome you to enjoy a performance of ‘A Little Bit of Light’ by Glass House Dance at Lavenham Village Hall.

Lynn Whitehead, Suffolk Artlink Project Officer, explains: “Through music and dance, ‘A Little Bit of Light’ tells the story of two women entering an attic looking for a very special box. As they search among the lost props of family history, they discover a little bit of light and a touch of magic.

“The performance is an enchanting, uplifting and gentle voyage of understanding the importance of things lost and found.

“As well as enjoying this beautiful work, you’ll also get the chance to take part in some table-craft activities and the Rural Coffee Caravan will be providing tea and cake to fuel a bit of socialising!”
