About the Show
Rain is forecast for the east coast next week but for once its going to be good news as the hit musical Singin’ In The Rain visits Lowestoft in spectacular coup for the town’s Marina Theatre -The only theatre in the region to host the production which is primarily visiting only major cities including Birmingham, Southampton and Manchester.

Recreating all the style and spectacle of Hollywood’s golden age, Singin’ in the Rain features a host of some of the best loved comedy routines, dance numbers and songs ever written. The national tour will play a five day run at the Marina from Tuesday July 21 proving a major boost to the local economy and with the Marina securing the only date across the east of England this latest production is set to further enhance the theatres growing reputation as a leading regional venue.

Olivier award winning West End and Broadway star Tim Flavin will lead the cast as Don Lockwood in the role immortalised by Gene Kelly. Tim’s previous credits include 42nd Street, My One and Only and Crazy For You (both Olivier Award nominated) as well as Kiss Me Kate, White Christmas and Chicago.

Produced by the team behind hit shows 42nd Street, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and South Pacific this brand new production features a host of hit songs including Good Morning, Make ‘em Laugh, Moses Supposes, You Were Meant For Me and, of course, the most famous song and dance number of all time, Singin’ in the Rain.

Guaranteed to lift your spirits whatever the weather, Singin’ In The Rain runs nightly at 7.30 from Tues 21 to Sat 25 July with matinees on Wed 22 & Sat 25 at 2.30.
