Give us your opinion on pharmacies in Suffolk

What do you think of your pharmacy? Are the opening times convenient for you? Would you like to see other services at your pharmacy?

If you have a view, NHS Suffolk would like to hear it as it launches a new survey to listen to your suggestions.

Sheila Baldwin, NHS Suffolk Senior Pharmacist said: “Pharmacists already play a vital role in the community and offer a wide range of healthcare services – not only do they dispense medicine but they are an invaluable source of advice that can save a trip to the doctor.”

The short Pharmacy Needs Assessment 2010 survey will take only a few minutes to complete and asks 7 questions, including:

– How easy is it to access a pharmacy in Suffolk?
– How do you rate the quality of service you receive from your pharmacy?
– Which pharmacy services do you use e.g. buying medicines over the counter, healthy living advice, Chlamydia testing?
– Which services would you like to see available in the future?

Ms Baldwin added: “By completing this questionnaire we will be able to better understand what pharmacy services people use and what services people would like to see introduced. Feedback from the public is invaluable and plays an important part in assessing how well pharmacies currently meet patients’ needs and what we need to do to make pharmacy services even better.”
