Local businesses, sponsors and members of the public are invited to attend a ‘GoGoGorillas!’ event for a sneak peek of the designs that will be adorning over 50 gorillas in Norwich this summer, as well as network and find out more about the project.

Taking place at The Space in Norwich on Tuesday 26th February 2013 from 4pm to 7pm, there will also be an appearance from popular gorillas Nelson and Horatio, along with other friends. It will be the last public event before the trail launches on 24th June 2013 and will be an opportunity to find out key dates and milestones of the project.

Along with staff from Break being on hand to answer questions and provide details about the campaign, the event is a chance for potential sponsors and visitors to see some of the decorated gorillas and designs, meet the artists and find out more on getting involved with the ‘GoGoGorillas!’ initiative.

Martin Green, fundraising officer at Break says: “This event is all about letting people know about how the troops of gorillas parading Norwich for ten weeks this summer will light up and benefit the city.

“We’ve got 37 sponsors on board so far and would love to add to this. This event provides the perfect opportunity to find out more about sponsorship and the support programme on offer, learn about how money raised will benefit Break and the Born Free Foundation, as well as future plans and timings.”

The event is being held at The Space, Roundtree Way, Norwich, NR7 8SQ.
