I noticed that your Pumpkin Night has been cancelled this year, due to circumstances beyond your control.
Here at the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary we are holding a Halloween Hoot on Sunday 30th. October 2011 and wonder if it may be of interest to your pumpkin fans.
The day will run from 10.00a.m. to 5.00p.m.
We are situated just off the A140, at Stonham Barns, Stonham Aspal IP14 4EX.
At our event visitors can see our 90 birds of prey and owls, including eagles, hawks,falcons and vulture and enjoy our woodland walk with red squirrels and chipmunks.
The highlight of the day will be a pumpkin carving demonstration by Stephen Topple, featuring his amazing works of art – some depicting owls and birds of prey. Stephen will be happy to assist those who wish to carve their own pumpkin.
Please take part in our Fearsome Fancy Dress competition – prize for the best costume – and our Spooky Spider and Batty Bat Hunt and Halloween Quiz trail.
Our falconers will treat visitors to a flying display and the event will also be an opportunity to vote for your favourite entry in the Northgate High School Art competition.
