Terry Pratchett’s

Maskerade

Where Phantom meets Fantasy!

Agnes Nitt doesn’t want to be a witch. So, with a voice that can shatter reinforced glass and a figure Brunhilde would be proud of, she’s off to the Ankh-Morpork Opera House to find her inner diva.

But trouble awaits in the wings – a masked phantom is on the loose and the body count is rising. Will Agnes be lured to a deadly destiny, or will the murderer be unmasked?

Fast, furious, and massive fun, Maskerade has been brilliantly adapted from Terry Pratchett’s bestselling novel by Stephen Briggs, and promises to be a dazzling night of absurdity, tension, ultra-witty dialogue and a plot that moves like a high speed train.

In recognition of Terry Pratchett’s struggle with Alzheimer’s disease, Harleston Players are holding a special performance on May 20th, when proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Norfolk and Suffolk branches of the Alzheimer’s Society.

Audience members are invited to come dressed in opera-going finery or as a Terry Pratchett character. A free programme for all who make the effort! Additional collections for the Alzheimer’s Society will be made at each performance.

Tickets (£8 and £6) available from Harleston Pet Stores. Also by telephone – 01379 852501 and email [email protected].

A cheque will be needed to confirm email bookings.

Harleston Players are an amateur company committed to dynamic, imaginative theatre with professional production standards.
