Just a month after the end of the Norfolk and Norwich Festival the city will come alive once again with music, singing, and street theatre with this summer’s Head Out, Not Home events! And you could be part of it!
Norwich Business Improvement District (BID) and NORCA & Sistema in Norwich are working together to deliver the Head Out, Not Home events which will take place every Thursday evening (weather permitting) from 4 July to 29 August. Each Thursday, across five different city centre locations between 4.40pm and 8pm there will be live music from local bands, singers and songwriters and street theatre and entertainment from world famous Covent Garden performers! Now in its seventh-year Head Out, Not Home is establishing itself as a major cultural feast of entertainment in the city centre’s calendar and has a keen following!
Norwich BID and NORCA & Sistema in Norwich are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking people to help run these events each Thursday throughout the summer – could this be you? There is a mixture of roles on offer from Stage Managers to Set Up and Event Stewards. The roles start at different times throughout the evening with the earliest ones starting at 2.45pm and the late shift finishing at 9pm. The programme of events run for 9 weeks however Norwich BID and NORCA & Sistema in Norwich are looking for volunteers who can commit for four to five weeks.
