HEVENINGHAM HALL ANNOUNCES NEW PARKING MEASURES & LIVE MUSIC ACTS AHEAD OF THIS YEAR’S FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR

The organisers of Suffolk’s most spectacular fireworks event have announced a wide range of new parking measures ahead of this year’s event which takes place on Saturday 5th November in the parkland of the Grade I listed Georgian mansion, Heveningham Hall.

The Heveningham Hall Country Fair Trust, which organizes the fireworks as well as the forthcoming Christmas Market & Santa Run, has confirmed that there will be extra parking attendants on the gates; wider gates; temporary roadways and tractors & 4x4s on hand for this year’s event.

Gates open at 5.30 pm for the event which has been months in the making and includes a huge bonfire, amazing fireworks by pyrotechnic specialists Full Effect Fireworks, a traditional funfair, large bar, fish & chips, hog roast, BBQ and a variety of tasty local foods.

New attractions for this year include the amazing LED Drummers who will be circulating through the event and performing on stage before the fireworks plus live music from London two-piece Desert Planes, who are making waves all over the UK with their unique brand of classy indie rock. Off the back of their debut offering ‘Wake in Fright’ they will also be performing their brand new single, ‘Together Apart’.

Also back by popular demand are The Matadors, described as Rock & Roll with a Jazz element plus well-known East Anglian eight-piece indie-nu-folk band Crumbs for Comfort who are regulars at Norwich’s premier venues and have even played the O2.

ALL proceeds from the night go to local charities. Vehicle tickets (including all passengers) for £20 can be purchased in advance online or via the following local outlets: Halesworth Wine Shop; Halesworth Golf Club; Laxfield Co-op & The Huntingfield Arms.

Tickets are available on the night for £25 per car (including all passengers). Pedestrian tickets (available on the gate only) are £7 for adults and £5 for children (aged 4-14).

The fireworks spectacular follows hot on the heels of this year’s Heveningham Hall Country Fair, the most successful in the event’s history with over 20,000 people attending over two days in July to visit the annual show plus the inaugural Concours d’Elegance which saw around 50 spectacular cars exhibited on the Kim Wilkie-designed terraces at the rear of the Hall.
