Home-Start is a local Suffolk Charity which has been extremely fortunate to receive Big Lottery and Suffolk County Council funding to expand its services to work in the Lowestoft and Waveney area of Suffolk.

‘Hello I am contacting you from Home-Start in Suffolk, we need your help in recruiting more volunteers to help us support the growing number of families in need of support in Suffolk.’

Do you have a few hours a week you could give to support families in Suffolk?

Home-Start in Suffolk is a charity providing support to families living in Suffolk with at least one child under 12 years of age. They may need support for many reasons; perhaps they are struggling to cope with mental illness, a child’s disability, family breakdown, or bereavement, or maybe feeling isolated and unable to connect with their local community. Home-Start provides non-judgemental practical and emotional support and helps to build confidence and an ability to cope. Every family has different needs and support offered is tailored to that family.
