The GTUK Grandmaster Oldham 9th degree, will be attending the October Belt grading for both the Beccles and Bungay Taekwon-do clubs.

He will be made most welcome by the Instructors and students of both clubs.

ITF Taekwon-do is a pure representation of the Korean martial art founded by General Choi Hong Hi 1955, using hand and feet techniques as a form of self defence.

Pattern sequences called ‘Tul’ are designed to help students develop the power and techniques required to master this martial art form as unarmed combat.

ITF Taekwon-do sparring uses hands and feet techniques to score points against an opponent, unlike Olympic Taekwondo where the style has been over simplified to mainly kicking on large body pads.

ITF Taekwon-do also practice the breaking of boards as a show of power and correct technique.

Please see the video below for a taste of what ITF Taekwon-do has to offer:

This is a great opportunity for any new students to come and join the clubs and start their Black Belt journey in one of the Worlds most powerful martial arts!

At Beccles and Bungay we teach students from the age of 6 upwards, over 40’s are classed as veterans, but many still compete in their 50s and above, so now is a great time to start a family activity and join our Taekwon-do sessions.

We will teach you how to fight and defend yourself, using both hands and feet, and the training will make you stronger, fitter and more confident.

It’s never too late to learn a martial art, we teach the young and not so young, so bring the children and we’ll teach you all at the same time!

Our students don’t just come from Beccles and Bungay, they come from all over the region to learn our martial art, Norwich, Lowestoft, Loddon, Southwold, Great Yarmouth, Gorleston, Oulton Broad, Halesworth, Harleston . . .
