A tea party to celebrate 70 years of the NHS is being hosted by Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) nurse Natasha Adams, who also just happens to be the current Miss Norfolk.

The 24-year-old, who will take part in the annual Miss England event in September, will host her Tiara and Tea Party on June 29 from 12-4pm

Natasha has organised a fun-filled afternoon, inspired by the Big7T fundraising idea which NHS charities are running nationwide to ask communities to celebrate the NHS 70th birthday and to raise funds for hospital charities.

The event at the hospital in Colney Lane will include scones with jam and  cream provided by Bircham Windmill, cakes, live music and tea.

Natasha said: “ We would love patients, visitors and staff to come along and join us for a brew in proper china cups and tuck into a tasty scone or cake. We want to celebrate our wonderful hospital and raise some money for the hospital charity and the Alzehimer’s Society – two causes close to my heart.

NNUH Head of Fundraising Louise Cook said: “This is a fun-packed afternoon organised by Natasha. We would like to thank her for using her role to help promote and raise funds for the good work we do and to encourage people to sit down and have a chat over a cuppa. Do please join Natasha, tiaras are optional, and show your support for the N&N.”

Tiara and Tea Party will take place in  Level 1 East Atrium outside Benjamin Gooch Theatre from 12 -4pm on Friday, June 29 2018.
