From Saturday 2nd through to Sunday 10th June 2012, its “all systems go” at the MNR.
MNR’s Summer Steam Season begins with ex GWR design Pannier Tank loco no. 9466 on a 3 train, Blue Timetable, service from Dereham to Wymondham.
The “GREAT” news for Parents is that its “KIDS FOR A QUID” these 9 days. [Children must be accompanied by an Adult].
Courtesy of the MNR, Dereham’s Open Cast Community Theatre is taking over
the MNR’s eastern platform at Dereham Station to perform to a musical version
of……………“The Railway Children”.
Seat bookings can be made at Dereham St’n when open or Dereham Festival Office 01362-690969. [All queries to 07432091044 or Dereham Festival 07780-769606].
Performances start at 3.45pm Afternoons and 7pm Evenings.
nb The MNR Steam Service will depart at 3.30pm and returns at 5.10pm. Act 1 of the Afternoon Performance will be completed during this period. Act 2 is about 1 hour in length. Theatre goers sit under the station canopy.
No Afternoon shows on 6th, 7th, and 8th. 
No Evening shows on 6th, and 10th.
