PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION OPENS IN BURY ST EDMUNDS

An exciting new arts exhibition is about to open in the centre of Bury St Edmunds by students with learning difficulties.

JumpstART! Photography students who enrolled on the course in September are looking forward to presenting an exhibition of their own work at the Debenhams Café, Arc Shopping Centre.

The exhibition private view is on Wednesday 1st December 2010, 6-8pm.  The student’s pictures will be on display in the café throughout December.

Professional Photographers James Fletcher and Albert Robb led an exciting ten-week programme, giving students the opportunity to learn about different types of photography from abstract and still life to macro and street photography.

JumpstART! Is a Suffolk Artlink project, providing modular courses for people with learning disabilities interested in the arts, as well as offering progressive routes for work experience and further training.

If anyone from the press or other related media outlets would like to come along for the private viewing of the exhibition then please contact Charlie Meyer – [email protected]
