La Mondiale arriving Lowestoft
– rowed from Edinburgh (practice for the Atlantic).

‘La Mondiale’ – the French ocean rowboat that for fifteen years (since 1992) has held the rowing record for the fastest crossing time of the Atlantic (35 days 8h 30 min), – will set at sea again December 2007.

The British and Irish team, led by Leven Brown of Ocean Rowing Events, will mount a bid for the ‘Rowing Speed Record across the Atlantic’, from Canary Islands to Barbados.

The team hopes to do it in 33 days.
