‘Ladies and gentlemen raise your glasses – Your Bard comes to The Burston Crown’

He’ll tell you all about his family, what it’s like on tour and the glory days at the Globe. Your Bard comes to The Burston Crown on Thursday 6th October at 7.30pm, With support from the arts and community development charity, Creative Arts East

Professor Nother is giving a talk about Shakespeare authorship in the function room at the Shakespeare pub – but he doesn’t believe the man from Stratford wrote those plays. That’s Will’s cue to kick the door off the hinges and defend his reputation. Come and meet the man himself and take the lid off a legend at The Burston Crown.

Creative East is delighted to be working with The Burston Crown on this new arts initiative.
The Burston Crown first opened its doors in 1580 only 16 years after Shakespeare died, and probably would have had travelling Elizabethan acting troupes performing then in the very same space to be used on 6th October.

You can see ‘Your Bard’ at The Burston Crown on Thursday 6th October at 7:30pm.

This event is organised in partnership with Creative Arts East with funding by Arts Council England, Norfolk County Council and South

Norfolk District Council. For further information on this and other Creative Arts East events please go to: www.creativeartseast.co.uk/whats-on/ or contact Karen Kidman on 01953 713390 or [email protected]
