Find the nutcrackers to get your claws into exciting and new ways of preparing and cooking lobster at the White Lion Hotel in Aldeburgh’s first ever Lobster Week between 5th- and 9th August 2013.

Throughout the week, the hotel will play host to a special lobster themed menu using fresh local lobster from Dean’s Shed fish hut opposite the hotel and cooked to perfection by the hotel’s Head Chef Jason Shaw.

Menu highlights will include Adnams champagne battered Aldeburgh lobster goujons served with frites and garlic aioli, Aldeburgh lobster bisque served with Suffolk’s Marybelle Dairy creme fraiche and lobster thermidor served with Thorpeness leaves and lemon buttered new potatoes.

General Manager of The White Lion, Peter Osborne comments: “Lobster is such a popular dish but so many people don’t know how to make the best of it and are unsure how to serve it. Lobster Week aims to celebrate the popular seafood crustacean, inspire people to eat it more often, show how accessible it is and give diners a gastronomic experience.”
