A brand-new light-festival called ‘Love Light Norwich’, taking place across Valentine’s weekend 13-15 February, hopes to inspire people to feel more connected at a time when wellbeing needs an encouraging boost.

With the theme of love and belonging, Love Light Norwich is taking steps to raise awareness about wellbeing by bringing organisations together.  A series of events called ‘Love Light Labs’ on 13 February 2020, powered by Aviva, invites local businesses and communities to explore a programme of events aiming to uncover solutions to help build a more socially connected city.

“We did our homework”, said Jude Brooks, UK Head of Corporate Responsibility – Aviva, “We know that 82% of people in Norwich think loneliness is one of the biggest issues facing the local region. We want to use the power of our brand to make a meaningful difference. Together, we can make Norwich a place where everyone feels connected and no-one gets left behind. That’s why we’re supporting Love Light Norwich to build stronger more connected communities.”

Love Light Norwich is free to attend and family friendly.  The festival will also include an illuminating trail of light and fire artworks, extraordinary installations, stunning performances from internationally renowned artists, such as Bilbobasso and Picto Facto, as well as interventions that will transform the city centre into a captivating trail of discovery.

Love Light Norwich is brought to the city by Norwich Business Improvement District (BID) with funding from Arts Council England, Norwich City Council, The Forum Trust, Aviva and Jarrold.
