In a career spanning over 50 years, writers Ray Galton and Alan Simpson made comedy history. Mere Players’ next production running from 27 to 29 September 2012 is Radio Days, an evening of BBC radio comedy gold.

Three classic plays will be performed including Hancock’s Half Hour, Steptoe and Son and an exclusive episode of The Galton and Simpson Radio Playhouse by kind permission.

The stage at Roydon Village Hall will be transformed into a 1960s radio studio, complete with actors, live music and sound effects and a continuity announcer to link the plays together.

If you would like to be involved – on stage or off – then the presentation will be at Diss Church Junior School on Sunday 1 July 2012 at 2 pm.

If you are unable to attend or want more information you can contact Steve Humfress on 01953 714926 or email [email protected].
