Mere Players will be giving a presentation for their production in January 2013 at Diss Junior School Hall on September 9th 2012 at 2pm.

Cindy-Ella is the traditional Cinderella story but set in 1960’s America. All the usual panto ingredients are there: The cruel cross-dressing Ugly sisters, the Good Fairy, the Demon King, the magic mice, audience participation and a shed load of bad jokes, but all dressed up in jeans and circle skirts and pretending to be Grease.

Also, there’s a brilliant score packed with pastiche 60’s style numbers written especially for the show, so there’ll be no bad renditions of current pop songs to contend with!

This is a pantomime that’s almost a musical. It’s a high energy, high camp romp through two genres that are more closely related than you might think and, most importantly, good fun!

If you’re interested in taking part, either on stage or behind the scenes, but can’t make it on the 9th September call Steve Humfress on 01953 714 926 or email [email protected]
