Five Canaries dropped by for a flying visit to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital’s children’s ward on Wednesday 16th December.

Norwich City football players Steven Whittaker, Cameron Jerome, Gary O’Neil, Lewis Grabban and Matt Jarvis spread some festive cheer to children staying on Buxton Ward at NNUH. The players spent time talking to the patients, signing autographs, posing for photos and delivering festive gifts.

Emma Dolman, Matron of Children Services said: “The visit from the players really helped to spread festive cheer to the young patients on the ward. The visit was a complete surprise to the patients and for a lot of them being able to meet their heroes is a dream come true. We are incredibly grateful to NCFC for making the time to visit the ward, talk to the children and for their generous donations.”
