Autumn beckons and the three gardens opening for the National Garden Scheme in Norfolk during September demonstrate there is still plenty to see and admire at the end of a long hot Summer!

GREENWAYS in Hindringham NR21 0QB opens for the first time on Saturday and Sunday 8th and 9th September. You may recognise the owners as they were previously at Daisy Cottage. Their love of wildlife plus chickens and ducks continues in this one acre garden together with plenty of perennial beds and borders. A pond and meandering stream all add to a peaceful haven.

HIGH HOUSE GARDENS

HIGH HOUSE GARDENS Shipdham, IP25 7PU. Opens on Sunday 9th September and also the following Wednesday. Here you can admire late Summer borders still showing lots of colour and interest. Sue Nickerson, the owner, has an excellent range of plants for sale from the garden and expert advice!

HINDRINGHAM HALL NR21 0QA opens its grounds On Sunday 30th September  this garden surrounds a magnificent Tudor manor house complete with a twelfth century moat and bog and stream gardens. There is also access to 3 acres of Medieval fishponds and a kitchen garden.
