The Norfolk Youth Music Trust is pleased to announce the results of the latest round of grants to Norfolk’s young musicians.

The successful winners were the Attleborough flautist and pianist, Heidi Reger; and the Norwich saxophonist, Eleanor McMurray Mus.B(Hons).

The winner of the eighth trust’s scholarship award to an outstanding third-year student at the University of East Anglia’s School of Music, is the pianist and violinist, Leona Long Sze Pang.

All grants are designed to assist with the costs of tuition, living and transport expenses, as they train (in most cases)  to become professionals.

Since grants were first made in 2002, the amount awarded to Norfolk’s Young Musicians is £24,000.
