The Norwich Fleamarket presents
The Christmas Nostalgia Fair
Saturday 14 December 2013
9am to 4pm
The most original Christmas shopping in Norwich!
100 stalls selling antiques, vintage and retro to recreate an old-fashioned Christmas.
Children’s books, toys, games, puzzles, dolls, dolls’ houses, dolls’ clothes, prams, teddies, ephemera, christmas cards and decorations, old-fashioned table settings, linens, lace, cutlery, china, glass, silver, furniture, kitchenalia, beautiful vintage clothes and accessories for dressing up on the day, gorgeous precious and costume jewellery, and so much more, plus all the stalls you expect from our normal Fleamarket for unique Christmas gifts.
We are being joined by sixteen new dealers this month adding up to an ever wider range of antiques and collectables. Look out for a wonderful display of vintage Christmas decorations from Cheryl and Richard in St. Andrew’s Hall (see picture above). And as its Christmas I have loosened things up a little and there will be a few craft stalls selling all sorts of exciting goodies to make different, interesting presents that you won’t find anywhere else.
These include amazing carved wooden pictures, hand-made ceramic Christmas decorations, upcycled items from vintage fabrics, clever, funny wooden postcards, and plenty more. Don’t forget the new entrance to the fair is the automatic glass door in the corner of the Plain by the noticeboard – just follow the bunting!
Remember to write your email address on the back of your entrance ticket and drop it into the box on the desk when you leave, for a chance to win £20 of vouchers to spend at the fair.
PLUS LIVE MUSIC
And because its Christmas and our last fair of 2013 I am really pleased to announce that we will have some great live music from the stage. The acclaimed fiddler Laura Cannell will be performing traditional Christmas carols with a medieval twist and the singer Craig Catchpole will be entertaining us with smooth jazz and swing.
The charity we are supporting this month is The Samaritans
St. Andrew’s and Blackfriars’ Halls, St. Andrew’s Street, Norwich NR3 1AU
