Patients registered at three GP surgeries in south Norwich are to benefit from a new computer system.

Humbleyard Practice, which has three separate GP surgeries in Cringleford, Hethersett and Mulbarton, is carrying out essential computer upgrades. The Practice will be moving to a new clinical and appointments system on 19 May which will enhance the services they can offer.

Although most services will not be disrupted for patients, and anyone with an urgent need for care will be seen, routine appointment availability will be reduced during mid-May and early June as the system is installed and the staff are trained.

Please note between Friday 18th May and Wednesday 23rd May  2012 there will be no routine appointments.

Patients are reminded that dispensaries at the three surgeries will be closed all day on Wednesday 23rd May 2012.

Patients with non-urgent needs are advised to consult their local pharmacy or alternatively call NHS Direct on 0845 4647 during the changeover period. Up to date information will be posted on the surgery websites. These can be accessed by logging onto www.humbleyardpractice.co.uk

The doctors and staff apologise for any inconvenience that patients may suffer during the period of transition and thank them for their understanding and support.
