Head Out, Not Home this summer and enjoy FREE street entertainment in Norwich city centre. Look forward to:

Timberhill – 4.40pm, 5.40pm and 6.50pm
Covent Garden’s Pete Dobbing returns to Norwich to perform his signature trick of climbing and balancing on an unsupported 10ft ladder whilst juggling knifes. He has mastered the ultimate retro challenge; a Rubik’s cube solved in 90 seconds, it is as amusing as it is baffling.

Hay Hill – 5.00pm, 6.00pm and 7.10pm
Cafe Warriors
Playing for over 3 years, the bearded guitar duo draw influence from Django Reinhardt, Fats Waller and Wes Montgomery.

Expect smooth jazz and down-and-out blues, the perfect background music for a summer evening’s shopping trip in Norwich.

Gentlemans Walk – 5.00pm, 6.10pm and 7.20pm
The Vagaband
They build songs around hooks that they hammer home until you’re convinced that you’ve known these songs forever…In short, this lot are talented, distinctive and fun – a welcome arrival on the scene.

Based in Norfolk they’re one of most exciting acts around with a soulful mix between Americana, blues, jazz and rock.

St Gregory’s Green – 5.10pm, 6.20pm and 7.30pm
Live Lit from the Writers Centre explores many styles of live literature, with Cat Woodward, Shey Hargreaves and an open mic platform. Cat Woodward is a local performance poet with performances including We Love Words Festival in Peterborough, Shake the Dust National Final and Norwich Fringe Festival. Shey Hargreaves is primarily a scriptwriter, experimenting with radio and screen writing. Her recent collaborative project with Tim Lawrence, ‘Tales from the Pigshed’, explores the hidden history of Norwich in the form of a comedic podcasts.
