Norwich’s Spring Art Show opens Wed 5th April
Artists from across the East of England are preparing to exhibit at this year’s Spring Art Show in the heart of Norwich.
The exhibition, a staple event in Norfolk’s art calendar, will return for its tenth anniversary this April.
The Spring Art Show, which takes place at the Forum, will gather together an eclectic mix of artists working in a range of art forms and styles.
Organised by Norwich artist Brian Korteling the exhibition is open between 5th and 9th April.
Annually attracting thousands of visitors, the original works and prints on show will all be for sale.
Brian Korteling said: “It’ll be good to be back in the Forum hosting the Spring Art Show now in its 10th year. It is always interesting to see the artist’s work and it’s great to meet the public and hear their comments which are almost always very positive.
“We aim to put on a diverse and inspiring exhibition of artwork so this year we have introduced a selection process for the first time to give us more curatorial control. Hopefully this will make for an even better exhibition.”
The exhibition is held in the light and spacious Atrium at The Forum, a short walk from public transport links.
Artists from across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire will be exhibiting both 2D and 3D work in a variety of mediums – prints and cards will also be for sale.
