The start of spring produces the welcome sight of new green shoots and bursting buds on many of the early plants in our gardens. The National Gardens Scheme in Norfolk has some choice gardens opening their gates for you to come and admire these early displays and to celebrate the end of the dark winter months with a refreshing garden walk!

Hindringham Hall, NR21 0QA (photograph shown) is a magnificent tudor manor house surrounded by some wonderful spring gardens with over 30 varieties of Narcissi on display and a delightful stream garden teaming with hellebores and primulas.

West View, East Ruston NR12 9JN has an acre of gardens complete with pond and vegetable parterre. There are many spring bulbs and hellebores to admire..
