Out-Smart Moriarty – UK’s first ‘Escape Play’ debuting in Norwich

You’ve received a mysterious handwritten invitation saying ‘Vultisne Ludere?’ – Translated as ‘Do you want to play?’ A most dangerous game is afoot…

Do you feel like testing your powers of deduction? Fancy pitting your wits against one of fiction’s greatest nemeses, Professor Moriarty? Could you solve the case of the dead Doctor and escape to tell the tale?

On May 11th, 2018, the interactive entertainment company, Casebook Events, will be bringing Moriarty’s Choice to the Shoe Factory Social Club at St. Mary’s Works, Norwich, for an evening like no other. By combining a live, high-drama mystery play with an escape room scenario they hope to create an amazing night out in Norwich.

Guests will be invited into the shady realm of one of fiction’s greatest feuds. As the story unravels among the murky streets of 1894, the audience will be called upon to don their figurative deerstalkers and channel their inner Sherlock Holmes, as they seek to aid the great detective. If they wish to escape the Works alive, they must first foil Moriarty’s despicable plan.

The 90-minute event will see the audience pit their wits against Moriarty – and each other. As puzzles are solved, crime scenes explored, and witnesses interrogated, it will soon become clear that there is far more to consider than initially meets the eye.
