The Pantaloons Theatre Company returns to Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden at South Walsham on Friday, July 7, with an open-air production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
The show begins at 7pm. Gates open at 6.30pm. Tickets in advance are £11adult, £9 concessions and Fairhaven members, £6 children and can be booked via www.fairhavengarden.co.uk, or call 01603 270449. Tickets on the night are £13 adult, £11 concessions and Fairhaven members and £8 children. Under 5s are free.
With a cast of five actor-musicians playing all the roles, the audience can expect plenty of quick-changes and larger-than-life characters. This fast-paced production, brimming with comic energy features audience interaction, contemporary references, slapstick and original live music all nestled comfortably within Shakespeare’s verse.
Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden is at South Walsham NR13 6DZ, nine miles east of Norwich, signposted off A47 at B1140 junction
The garden is open daily all year from 10am to 5pm (closed Christmas Day), and on Wednesdays until 9pm to the end of August, free entry to tearoom, gift shop and plant sales.
There is wheelchair access throughout the garden, including a Sensory Garden and an accessible boat for trips on the broad from April to October (additional charge). Visitors requiring special facilities are advised to telephone in advance, mobility scooters available.
