Parent 2 Parent Nearly New Sale launches in Norwich

A sale dedicated to children’s and baby items has launched in Norwich with the first event running in Thorpe St. Andrew on 10 November.

The recent effect of fast fashion is not limited to the adult generation but can be seen in the under 10’s too with many toys discarded soon after opening and some clothes not even being worn before they are outgrown. The Parent 2 Parent Nearly New Sale allows parents to sell their preloved high quality items to other parents and parents 2 be at a dedicated sale. The event is to be more than a market with the opportunity to socialise at the dedicated refreshment area whilst allowing buyers to shop hands free by checking their pushchair into the dedicated buggy creche.

The first sale will be held at Thorpe St. Andrew High School, 10am – 1pm with 50% of the £2 entrance fee going to local school Dussindale Primary. The event has been organised in time for parents to make a few pennies and declutter ahead of Christmas day or for savvy shoppers to grab clothes and toys at a fraction of the high street cost.

Organiser and new mum, Emma Jones commented: “We all know that many toys and clothes are barely worn or played with yet hunting these out at carboot sales and spending hours selling items online can be a chore. The event will bring it all under one roof, in the warm, and be a social event as well as a sale with the opportunity for refreshments and to shop hands free by parking in our buggy park.”
