Norwich Business Improvement District (BID) will soon be launching a new free to download city centre app, Discover Norwich.  To mark the launch a flash mob will spring to life on Gentleman’s Walk on Wednesday 16 April 2014 at 1pm.

Working with the Garage, Norwich BID is seeking dancers to join and participate in a short and snappy flash mob to the famous Blues Brothers’ Shake Your Tail Feather.  You don’t have to be an experienced dancer to take part; we are looking for people who have a sense of fun, are keen to get involved in something new and exciting for the city and would love to perform on the streets of Norwich with friends, family and work colleagues.

Everyone is welcome to come along to our rehearsal sessions to learn this fun dance with choreographer Cat Chapman at The Garage on Tuesday evenings, 1, 8 and 15 April at 18:30 (Studio 1) and Wednesday 16 April at 12 noon (Studio 3).

The Discover Norwich App launches on Wednesday 16 April and will be available on Android and iOS.  Discover Norwich is free to download and is aimed at visitors and those who live and work in and around the city.  The app gives a wealth of information about the city, such as interactive map, event listings, and business listings by category.
