Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival Fringe Event
Hosted by Metfield Stores cic

The talk…
Metfield Stores, now in its fourth year of trading as a community-run shop, is often asked ‘How can I save my village shop from closing?’ The founders will tell their story and answer your questions. Talk starts 10am.

The walk…

Across the fields to Wakelyns Agroforestry organic farm. Eddie Krutysza, local rose and fruit tree grower, will lead the walk while describing and showing us apple trees in an early celebration of Apple Day (21 October).

…and back
At the end of the walk, the community bus will bring us all back to the village for some delicious warming soup.

And there will be apple identification plus a range of local apples and apple juices available at the Stores.
