Signpost Walkers to Your Business from the Boudicca Way

We’ve recently been working with the Countryside Access team at Norfolk County Council to install new footpath signage along the entire Boudicca Way route. As a result of these discussions we’ve reached agreement that a selected number of businesses close to the route will be able to signpost their business from the footpath.

This is an opportunity for businesses such as pubs, restaurants, shops, cafes and accommodation providers to direct walkers to their business by fixing an approved sign to footpath waymarker posts. The format will be similar to the one shown below (excuse the dodgy attempts at a Photoshop  mock-up).

With the significant increase in numbers of walkers we expect to attract to the the footpath this is a genuine opportunity for businesses to benefit from customers who might otherwise pass them by. There will be a small charge to cover the cost of manufacturing and installing the signs but this represents an extremely cost effective way of promoting your business. If you would like more information about this opportunity please e-mail us at: [email protected], we’ll get in touch to talk about suitable locations, design etc. Please remember opportunities will be very limited and will be allocated on a first-come basis.

So What’s Next?
We’re a matter of weeks away from launching the Boudicca Way website, this will be followed by an intensive campaign of PR and marketing to encourage visitors to the area. Before we launch the site we’ll be in touch again for any additional information we need and asking you to check your advertising copy – remember a standard advertisement for any business in the area around the Boudicca Way will always be FREE.

How Can You Help Now?
The success of this project will rely on enough businesses getting involved to make the website an attractive proposition for consumers – please help by encouraging other local businesses to sign-up as partners.

Social media forms an important element of any marketing campaign in this day and age and a benefit the project will offer partners is the ability to promote your business via our social media accounts. If you already use  Twitter or Facebook please ‘follow’ or ‘like’ us.

Thanks, Steve & Meryl Falvey.
