‘Stand up to Cancer’ Coffee Morning
The Beccles Friends of Cancer Research are organising a
Beccles Coffee Morning
to raise funds as part of the national ‘Stand Up to Cancer’ campaign.
It would be lovely if as many people as possible were able to join them on
Thursday 16 October 2014 at the Sports Pavilion,
Common Lane, Beccles
from 10.am until mid-day.
The cost is only £3.50 per person which includes delicious homemade cakes with tea or coffee.
There will be bric a brac and book stall as well as a raffle.
No need to book, just turn up on the day.’

As you may be aware, Cancer Research UK are running TV advertisements for this ‘Stand up to Cancer’ campaign.
Norwich is one of only 15 cities through the UK who are hosting a ‘March on Cancer’ event on Saturday 11th October at 7.30pm.
This is open to everyone with the meeting point at The Forum.
The walk will be through the streets of Norwich and Cathedral grounds accompanied by live music, entertainment and stories from people who’ve beaten cancer.
