“I am organising a fund-raising event in aid of Waveney Hospice Care. It’s a sponsored dog walk called Strut your Mutt.
The event is to be held on Sunday 5th June 2011 in the grounds of Benacre Hall.
This beautiful Estate is situated on the Suffolk Heritage Coast between Southwold and Lowestoft. The walk offers a rare opportunity to enjoy the stunning scenery inside the hall grounds that are not often open to the public.
It’s set to be a great day with lots of fun for all the family, particularly if you love dogs. There will be a 2 mile route and a 7 mile route through woodland and along the beach. The event will take place rain or shine. There will be refreshments for people and dogs and once walkers have completed their walk they will each receive a rosette and goody bag. There will also be a selection of animal charity stalls and pet related stalls to look around. The event is being sponsored by Wangford Vets Clinic.
To receive a participants pack people need to send a stamped addressed envelope to Strut your Mutt, Woodfarm Cottage, Willingham St Mary, Beccles, NR34 8DJ.
