Suffolk Artlink Innovation

We’re all about innovation at Suffolk Artlink, and this month is no exception.  As well as working with innovative creators like Mike Knowlden, for the very first time we are bringing you the chance to own prints and postcards of our JumpstART students’ artworks, do take a look below to browse their amazing creations.

We’re also excited to be co-ordinating a brand new culture and health network for the East – we’d love to hear from you if you’d like to be involved.

Wishing you a great month ahead,

Alex & Hayley, Co-Directors

We love them all and think you will too, so we’ve turned them into a limited edition book, A3 prints and postcards for you to own! From fairy tale castles, to love over fish and chips and top tips for life, there’s something for everyone. Browse the artworks here.

Artlink Suffolk Open Studios partnership

Our Suffolk Open Studios partnership returns

This year, we are once again delighted to be partnering with Suffolk Open Studios.

As well as taking part in the event ourselves in June, we will also be showing some of our participants’ work at the forthcoming Suffolk Open Studios Showcase Exhibition. And they’re raising money for us too – what a lovely bunch! Read more about the exhibition.

New Culture and Health Network for the East

We have recently taken over from Arts and Minds on the steering group for the Culture, Health and Wellbeing Alliance as the arts representative for the East.

As part of this, we are coordinating a new regional network in order to develop practice, share learning and raise the profile of the work happening across the region. Read more about the regional network’s first event.

Meet the Artist: Mike Knowlden

February’s artist of the month is chef with a difference, Mark Knowlden. By focusing on that fascinating space where food and culture meet, he loves to bring people together in a way that nurtures creativity, breaks down barriers and creates new connections. He’s also a dab hand at baking a cake!  Read more about Mark.
