arts courses for adults with learning disabilities

This month we are pleased to open booking for Year 2 of Brave Art. We’ve continued to learn and adapt our delivery and will be offering two different ways to engage with the arts training course, to make it as accessible as possible for everyone.

In September we’re looking forward to embarking on a new music project in partnership with Suffolk Libraries, and we are gearing up for the Pakefield Postcard auction, which is generously raising funds for us this year.

If you’ve ever wanted to experience our work for yourself, we’re making some of our creative activities available on our website for you to try from home. This month – summer foraging – enjoy!

Supporting our communities through music

Supporting our communities through music

We’re embarking upon a new project in partnership with Suffolk Libraries that aims to improve wellbeing, child development and musical engagement amongst pre-school children.

‘Little Beats’ will bring musicians, an early years music educator / researcher and an early years movement specialist together with librarians from Great Cornard and Lowestoft. Read more about Little Beats.

Pakefield Postcard Auction

Pakefield Postcard Auction

We’ve been selected as the recipients of funds from the 2020 Pakefield Postcard Auction! The event is run by the Ferini Gallery, and raises thousands of pounds each summer for local charities.

Whilst the auction can’t go ahead at The Victoria Hotel as planned, it will be held as a live online event, at 7pm on Wednesday 23rd September. Read more about the auction.

Get creative at home!

Get creative at home!

Having adapted the way that we’re working, we thought it would be fun to share with you some of the creative activities that we are providing our participants to do at home. This month, check out our fab foraging guide, fact files and recipe ideas from Around the Table. The summer guides are up and ready to inspire an enjoyable walk with delicious results! Read our foraging guides.

Whilst we can’t get out and about to raise funds as easily, why not consider giving regularly to Suffolk Artlink to ensure we can plan for the future and continue to support our communities during these challenging times?
